Our High-Affinity Cyclodextrin Polymer (HACP) adsorbents represent a leap forward in the safe, rapid, and cost-effective removal of toxic micropollutants from water. The novelty of our technology is to organize naturally “sticky” cyclodextrins into highly adsorbent networks, with porous, crosslinked pathways through which micropollutants are drawn in and trapped within cyclodextrins. The result are the world's first high-surface area, high-affinity cyclodextrin adsorbents.
Our technology is based on modular design principles that will enable expansion of our product lines with high-affinity materials engineered to specific separation challenges.
Our HACP adsorbents may be used in powder or granular form, or they may be bonded to textiles, fabrics, and other materials. This versatility creates broad application opportunities and greatly extends the value of each polymer formulation.
